Corundum mullite brick


Mullite lightweight brick can be used as a hot surface working layer refractory lining or insulation layer application. Mainly used for hot blast stove top, blast furnace body and bottom, glass melting furnace heat storage chamber, ceramic sintering kiln, petroleum cracking system dead angle furnace lining, etc.

Product features:

Mullite insulation brick is made of mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO22) High-alumina refractories with main crystal phase. Generally, the alumina content is between 65% and 75%. Mineral composition in addition to mullite, which contains a low amount of alumina also contains a small amount of glass phase and cristobalite; containing a high amount of alumina also contains a small amount of corundum.

High refractoriness, up to 1790 ℃. The starting temperature of load softening is 1600~1700 ℃. Normal temperature compressive strength 70 ~ 260MPa. Good thermal shock resistance. There are two kinds of sintered mullite brick and fused mullite brick. The crystallization of fused mullite is larger than that of sintered mullite, and its thermal shock resistance is better than that of sintered products.
